INFORMATION
"Who Wants to Be an Ultimate? -retake-" is a free to play one-shot Danganronpa fangame created in RPG Maker MV.
This is a spin-off project, meaning that the events of this game are totally non-canon to the upcoming "Who Wants to Be an Utlimate?" main series.
This project was made in a month for the Fangans for Hope Jam in January 2026.
PREMISE
Nulltimate
noun
A person who was considered by the Ultimate Scouting Organization as a possible Ultimate title holder who didn't end up receiving it.
"Who Wants to Be an Ultimate?" was meant to be their second chance to earn an Ultimate title. A reality show where the world would be able to see their worth, a place where they would be allowed to compete directly against Ultimates. However, 8 Nulltimates and 7 Ultimates would find themselves trapped in a mysterious hotel and forced to play a killing game by two mascots naming themselves the showrunners, who tell them their only way to escape is to kill one of their fellow cast members.
